In the beginning of September, experienced engineers of SABO Marine Services completed 5-year overhaul repairs on Electronic Main Engine on LPG vessel in Chalkis Shipyard. This was the first project to be undertaken in this shipyard.
After having overhauled all main parts of the engine like fuel pumps, cylinder lubricators and other mechanical components, our team proceeded to a thorough health check of the electronic system, following the vessel for extensive sea trials for main parameters and performance adjustments.
Furthermore, and particularly for vessels being dry docked in Chalkis Shipyard, there is an opportunity for us to provide shipping companies with even better quality of services by transferring the parts for maintenance to our workshop located in the headquarters of SABO S.A. in Vasiliko, Evia just a few kilometers away.
