During May, a group of SABO’s representatives visited Kazakhstan due to the commencement of the contract regarding the construction of 3 Municipal Solid Waste Treatment Plants.
The facilities have been designed to recover valuable recyclable materials, which can be used as secondary raw materials in respective industries. During the visit, our team participated in meetings with the leadership of the Ministry of the Environment, the Mayors and technical staff from the 3 Municipalities and EPR Operator, where issues of general planning and waste management were discussed.
In addition, coordination of the involved stakeholders was carried out regarding the forthcoming steps of the ongoing projects.
