Two Service Teams are currently running drydock repairs on two vessels in Yalova & Tuzla shipyards in Turkey. Both vessels are equipped with 5S60ME-C8.1 MAN Main engines.
The two riding squads have been assigned to carry out complete overhaul concerning:
Fuel Oil Pressure Boosters
Exhaust Valve Actuators
ME Lubricators
Accumulators
Replacement of high-pressure rubber hoses
Deflection measurements on crankshaft
Bearings inspection (Main, Crank pin, Crosshead).
After the overhauling being completed, our experienced superintendent engineers will stay on board during the Sea Trials to adjust all important parameters and optimize engine’s performance.
In fact, recently our service portfolio has been enhanced by adding Liner Diameter Measuring Tool made by Chris Marine. Our Engineers travelled at Chris Marine premises in Malmo, Sweden to attend an official Service training on LDM & LCC Products.
So, the first job using LDM was successfully completed in March and even more have been confirmed during the following months!
