The Contractor of the project THALIS SA assigned SABO Environmental the implementation of the technological line for the new Biowaste Composting Plant at the Municipality of Archanes – Asterousia in Crete. The plant will have a process capacity of up to 10,000 tons of pre-sorted biodegradable solid waste per year.
The contract comprises a turn-key (design, manufacture of E/M equipment, installation and commissioning) mechanical presorting line and refinery unit including automation and power systems for the entire plant.
In the next period, the construction works will be completed and the acceptance tests of the project will commence.
