Specifically, Mr. Ioannis Makrygiannis, Head of Laboratory & Research, referred to the key problems and challenges of the modern Industry and Mr. Ioannis Varlamis, Head of the Technical Department, introduced the students to CAD/CAM design programs as the central pillars of the production process.

Additionally, students shared a hand on experience visit at SABO premises which gave them a chance to be guided to the production area and be involved in laboratory exercises in the field, under the guidance of Mr. Ioannis Gekas, Robot & PLC Programmer, in collaboration with the teachers of DIND and by using the industrial robots that SABO prepared for educational purposes.

Students and teachers of EKPA expressed their positive impressions regarding the learning material as well as their educational visit to one of the largest Greek industries.
