A landmark environmental "waste treatment" project for the island's progress made true with the support of SABO for our customer Thalis Environmental Services!
Specifically, the experienced SABO team undertook:
• Design of the processing line
• Supply of conveyor systems (650m), bag splitter, drum screens, sorting cabins, metal equipment, ferrous/non-ferrous metal separation systems, balers, PET container sorter, and electrical panels.
• Design and procurement of refinement and integration of all the above equipment.
The new facility will handle an annual intake of 43 thousand tons of waste (35.600 t/y for mixed municipal solid waste – MSW and 7.400 t/y for separately collected organic waste), while also attaining high recovery rates for quality recyclable materials through advanced techniques.
It is an honor to contribute to improving the environment and the quality of life for the residents of the Region of Crete!
